Welcome to MetalsGroup!

The MetalsGroup - Metals Research Group - has as main objective to bring together: researchers, students and technical support personnel, who have an affinity and interest in scientific and/or technological research on metals. Therefore, it is proposed to develop academic actions to encourage undergraduate and graduate students at UNIFEI, campus of Itabira, for research related to metals and their alloys.

In order to achieve its purposes, the Group presents itself as a facilitator of discussions, seminars and workshops aimed to develop and publishing its research in progress and/or concluded.

This website presents itself as a vehicle for the Group's interaction with UNIFEI's internal academic community, as well as with the general public at general levels: local, regional, national and international (possibility of access in Portuguese and English). Thus, this website is intended to make available to all materials covered in the discussions, reports and tutorials of workshops performed as well as any didactic materials produced by the Group.
